Enjoy the view Paul Janish

January 8, 2011

This is where you’ll be watching the 2011 season unfold.  If you haven’t heard, you need to get a new news source.  The Reds are on the verge of adding World Series MVP Edgar Rentaria to play shortstop…though not full time according to Dusty the Magnificent.

“We don’t have a quarterback controversy at short.” Dusty told John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer, ” Everybody plays on my team. They’re both going to play. Janish is younger. Edgar is more experienced. Janish deserves a chance to be my shortstop.”

I agree Dusty the Magnificent does play everybody, but if I’m Paul Janish, I look at past history to determine that Dusty will want to play me about as often as the bat boy gets to play (never).  However with the recent injury history of Rentaria (he only played 74 games in 2010), I know we’ll see a lot of Paul Janish.
